Frank Herbert’s DUNE saga introduces us to a Galactic Empire some 10,000 years in the future. These original art pieces from GRYPH invite you to place yourself in that Universe. Are you independent like the fearsome Fremen or a more analytical Mentat? Do you fear outsiders like the Tleilaxu or do you view all as “tools” to be used, as the Bene Gesserit are known to do? Are you the “heroic” Paul Muad’Dib, the long-lived Duncan Idaho, or more like the “Imperial Historian” Irulan? The answers are yours to claim…

I discovered Frank Herbert’s DUNE saga when I was a teen. At first, like many teens, I was simply looking for a new author that would transport me into a life unlike my own. That was over 40 years ago. Since then, I’ve returned to this ever-expanding Universe time and time and time again…to teach me important lessons I could apply in my own life. While my beloved Marm taught me the importance of love, trust, family, and friendship, it was DUNE that taught me how, when, who and why to give these gifts of my soul. Our emotions, the persons we allow into our lives, and the connections that we make are…after all…GIFTS of our souls.

I invite you to think of these art pieces as gifts from me to you, to consider the stories that are their foundations, and to gift yourself (or another) with a reminder of who you/they are in your Universe.
